Privacy

QSuper is committed to protecting user privacy.

We understand and appreciate visitors and users of this website are concerned about their privacy, and the confidentiality and security of any information that may be provided to us, which is why we have developed this statement and privacy management plan. The Queensland Government has established a privacy regime for the Queensland public sector based on eleven Information Privacy Principles. These are contained in the Information Standard agencies are required to adhere to. A copy of this standard can be accessed at the Queensland Government Chief Information Office website.

Email correspondence and feedback

This is a Queensland Government website. Email correspondence sent to this site will be treated as a public record, and will be retained as required by the Libraries and Archives Act 1988 and other relevant regulations.

When you email us:

  • Your name and address details will not be added to a mailing list, unless you have specifically requested this (e.g. by subscribing to QSuper's Financing your future newsletter).
  • We will not disclose these details to third parties without your consent, unless required by law.
  • Email messages may be monitored by our website support staff for system performance and maintenance purposes.

Access to personal information

Right of access and correction under Information Privacy Principles 6 and 7 in the privacy scheme detailed in Information Standard 42 is limited to existing rights under the Freedom of Information Act 1992.
